Original seats

Before i dive in, is it possible to remove the original covers off the driver and twin front seat so that i can use them as templates for a distant upholsterer?

I wouldnt trust anyone thats a bit distant with anything of mine. Have you thought this through!

Yes @wizard it's easy. Turn the seat over and there will be some small triangular tabs that are poked through the seat material and folded flat. Behind these tabs and threaded into a sewn pocket in the seat are wires. The wire stops the material just ripping away. Straighten out all the tabs and unhook the material and wire. You should be able to work the covers off now. Retain the wires.
