Why do you reckon they charge a tenner, do they not make enough from the traders and camping?

To me it means I have to save a tenner on something I Buy to recoup the entry fee.

I suppose they would put up the camping fee if they couldn't charge you to go through the hall doors.

trouble is there aren't exactly bargains to be had inside in my opinion, the only good thing is if you wanted summat the £10 entry "saves" the postage if you bought online.

I guess that they have to find a balance - if they charge the traders too much they won't fill the hall. If they charge too much on the door they won't get enough people in.
At the end of the day they need to have cover the costs of setting it all up and hiring the place with a bit left over for sweets :)

£5 for camping though fair enough.

don't get me started on "camper mart" - early bird tickets for £6 if you fancy it? tattoos and roller skates.

The Hangovers and I went to Show n Glow at Stagnant Water shopping mall in Kent on Sunday. Top class VW's. Probably some of the best in the UK but the £15 entry fee was steep. Bugger all in there to buy but the hope that the cyclists would have a fall. £10 plus £5 for camping sounds like a ruddy good bargain to me.

This costs a lot more than £6 where I go....I mean where someone I know goes.....as there is no way I might enjoy such a condescending treatment of women.

  16. I really don`t get the show thing ...
Vans people spend a fortune on - usually a punter who see`s it as an investment - do absolutely nothing for me.
Sooner see a well used van parked in a field next to mine anytime.
Sure, I`ve been to a few in the past but now it`s become big business and has lost the `amateur` feel I enjoyed 15 years ago - bargains could be had as folk just wanted to clear the garage etc.
Decided enough was enough when a guy was selling used tinware screws at a quid each.....

I can match the price, but would need a rest in between! :)
