Please please me....it was 50 years ago today (give or take a day or so)

Mate don't get me wrong. I grew up with the Beatles and have a lot of their music. It was just an observation that I have made through out years

 

icepug no offence taken I merely point out that the matching suits were the style which was acceptable at the time. No one commented on the collarless suits, most older people were outraged by the length of their hair.

loved the beatles and there early stuff, But wish macca would call it a day, some other singers in there 60's can still sing a tune or two, not macca.

 

It was Paul that joined Johns band on his own accord ,they werent manufactured like today plus look at their hair cuts in the early and post 65 era.
And they write their own music and play their own instruments ,as for being a product for the myusic industrys down fall that is utter rubbish they helped it by selling loads as bringing it to the masses
If you look at pictures of the Beatles they look timeless as they created their own fashion not the other way round.
