Easy,,take your bay to the 402m track, do a sub 18 sec. run, send the timeslip to Chris, he'll sort out the rest
same same different name. really hope Darren takes his bay out to have a go. More TLB members on that list of fast bays would be cool
You cant think like that when racing as it will affect your times a lot You need to be focused with no worry about destroying the engine and be confident you can set the time
I think I'd want to do a safeish run first and see how that went, then when you've found out that's not enough... Mine would certainly break and it's not made to the off anyway which is probably just as well. holmsen How fast would you have to be going at 18 seconds to have covered the 1/4 mile? I know it will vary a bit, but roughly?
haven't got a clue,,,,when i did my fist sub 18,,,17,62 with old blueboy, i think the speed at the 402m end was 79,43mph
I'm thinking I will break something for sure!! Got a problem with Clutch-gearbox at the minute hopefully be fixed by Big Bang
zed It's around 76mph... but you get into the weird dynamics of the stages of the 1/4 mile, as you can do faster runs and have a slower terminal speed sometimes.. but for the sake of the question it's mid 70s
wow... always wanted a flat 6 Porsche engine to talk dirty to me while i drive. the sound they make is lullabies to my ears.
Long time no type!!! Bus is finally finished all teething problems solved Long trip planed for August-Dub-island -Barcelona to watch the footy, them down in to south of France? Get in
Thanks - I missed your replies, so if ones van could get to 75 in 18 seconds you'd be in with a shot? No chance for me. lol
