With the installation of the propex and the loss of some cupboard space l set about giving the cupboard a make over. I had the idea and Majorhangover took over so cheers bus buddy. Reply to this and I'll give you some K If I'm honest he also pretty much took over the fitting of the propex itself so cheers love So the idea was that being lanky l needed to make a shelf for my TFAB (Time For A Brew) things that consist of coffee, coffee, coffee, sugar, tea and hot chocolate, that meant l didn't have to bend down all the time. Had to be small enough too to allow space behind for the water bottle. 18" draw runners: Perfect. And a handle to assist in pulling it out and stop the jars falling out. One also fitted at the other end. And with the use of a slimmer wood it also gave me a tiny edge to stop them sliding off the side. Then with the water tank in place and a bottle of bleach the old shelf was was adapted and as luck would have it was able to stay in its original place l had it in before. And Then he set about making me a sturdy shelf for the water tank that could go above the propex. And having the concept that items need to have 2 uses, it also makes a perfect mini sledge for little people or small bums And all hidden in a normal looking cupboard. So all in all not a bad weekends work of watching someone else work while l drink their coffee
Brilliant Birdy (and great workmanship Major Hang over - Birdy, I hope you were rolling his fags for him?) it always amazes me how you re-invent your storage time and time again.
Good one on majorhangover and birdie for tea making support! ;D I have ripped the interior out of my T25 as it had rats in and am pondering how to refit it. The shelfs on runners are fab and some thing i hadnt thought of but will now rob as though it was my own idea! xx
I like a man who prioritizes easy access to Tea and Coffee over and above life's less essential items.....
