Just thought I'd share my new daily driver with you all, it's Rocky the jeans beetle I picked it up on Friday and have a few little things to do on it before the end of the month then I will be smoking around over the winter months whilst I freshen up my bus
Moosey and I recently been vaguely talking about vague plan to vaguely get a Beetle at some vague point in the future (we know absolutely nothing about them as yet) and I was just admiring a jeans Beetle in chrisradioman's photos on this thread: http://thelatebay.com/index.php?topic=17405.0 Then the next thread I read was yours! very nice. I remember when these were new and being a sad but young git thought "but how long will denim seats last?" clearly the answer is quiet a long time.
do it Mrs. Moosey!!! they are a pleasure to drive, classic but easier than lugging around the camper even though i love molly i couldn't have her as a daily... how many jeans beetles were made?? i wonder where the name rocky might have come from it's a lovely beetle congrats x
