    lots of vans look good but when i walked around the show saturday i was surprised what ones needed work close up ,so come on we have seen all your distant pics how about some close ups.:TTIWWP:

    did you cut that area right out or treat rust when removed loose

    Behind the front part of the rear arches hopefully you won't find this...

    I replaced the whole arch - the filler picture was a joke - the filler was slapped on just for the MOT. ;)

    when wheels were off i saw no crud or underneath:) butr i am looking forward to cutting out many more questions later before i carry on

    Q: what's worse than a rusty front wheel arch?
    A: a new one not fitted right

    I now have to pay another welder to take it off and hopefully save it( although its been seamed in the cab rather than spot welded).
    Wish I could weld :(

    is it best to hold panel up cut smaller then see what you have?

  14. found this under newspaper, crisp packets, fibreglass and filler.

    i knew my bus was a sh1tter when i started so it wasnt that much of a shock. lol

    zed has already told me my door must be done too as it rotton and needs linning together so i should be fine

    You need a whole genuine arch Mr Ken. When you take the old off, you're left with a flat bulkhead that has likely been patched over the flange of the old arch making it impossible to fit the new one. If not there will be holes that need patching or a right royal bodge up like this.
