Ah, that doesn't sound too fun!
In fairness the trees weren't too bad, and it took a little over 3 hours including measuring it all out.... but the ground was claggy clay full of couch grass which made it very heavy going, and I think I took quite a lot of it back with me on my boots and the spade
Got a big planting job on Thursday too, an all day-er. Still, keeps me fit (to drop)

My Grandparents retired to Bournemouth back in 1979, Dereham Way, Branksome. We used to go out into Poole Harbour on the boats from Bournemouth Pier many years back

 

What kept me out of mischief for most of my working day today....
