Aside, I think I might have been talking about you last week with a guy called Dewi from Y Felinheli (lecturer from the normal with a westy?), are you a teacher by any chance?

We went for a walk in Moelfre about a month ago, they've blocked the path along the headland by the lifeboat turned out to be a shorter walk than anticipated, ended up going war a walk along the Belgium prom instead which was nice too

 

Lol.. Yes am a teacher.. Have been cycling to work for a year now so after 21 years as my daily driver my VW Camper is having a rest. he needs some serious welding to pass MOT this year as I have exceeded the possible use of green gaffa tape on him poor thing. Not sure who dewi is though?

 

Ps my house looks over the belgian prom.. Just above the accursed rugby field.

 

I only know Dewi from one visit to our office to visit a young girl one work placement with us, I thought he knew you but maybe he just knows of you.

Are you going to get the van fixed?

Van going to get a very early pre MOT check to see which bits of welding I can get away with not doing. Brake servo needs fixing for now although got so used without servo it is no big rush... Need handbrake working but otherwise it is good mechanically except for the recent issue of the alarm coming on after several years of inactivity. trying to source decent late rear wheel arches and not the Krappenones.... Got a beautiful nos crossover wheel arch in the 'clothes' cupboard but not putting that on until I can be sure I find a decent welder... around these oarts rarer than a rare westy rare thing.

you not seen my beautiful green/ white rusty crossover tintop in moelfre at all then? There used to be two of us with almost identical green/ white splitscreens also.. I used to have a beautful one and a 78 westfalia but had to downsize when all three campers were in garages at different times. Was going to visit mam today but hangover put paid to that....
