Whats wrong with the middle hinge on my sliding door? Is there an adjustment I need to make to stop it scraping against the track cover? I can pull the door to give better clearance, it's as if something is loose maybe. Any advice greatly received!
its spring loaded, which is what pulls the door away from the body as it opens, i think you will need to pull the hinge off to have a proper look, it could also be siezed up
May be that the nylon slider block under the track cover has come adrift. Take the cover off and have a peek.
Judging by your pictures you don't seem to have the spring attached to the u bit. It isn't there ? Where the silver u bit joins the door it goes through the two pieces with a gap. You can see the square bit in between. That is where your spring should be
