Steering coupling

  1. Hi , how much of a job is it to change the steering coupling ? had a look at mine the other day while doing other jobs and i think its seen better days plus steering is a bit sloppy and dont want to go too mad adjusting the box and stuff as ive heard horror storys of peoples steering jamming ????? :eek: . Would have a look in my manual but i seem to have left it down at the old dears and she is 70 miles away "doh" :rolleyes: .

    if its a bitch ill wait until i go back down and retrieve my manual :)

    Its really easy - on our 77 it was just a matter of removing the cover, on the cab floor, remove the front pedal cover/belly pan. I had my Dad helping - I was under the bus with a spanner & he undid the four bolts from above. Be careful not to break the horn wire that connects top to bottom
