I replaced a Meyle joint with a Lemforder a couple of years ago; the Meyle had seized after 6 years use - so far, the Lemforder is fine. The Meyle was manufactured in Germany, the Lemforder in China.

 

Surely I have not bought and fitted something decent ?????????????????????????????????????? Holy crap

 

Just cause it’s made in Germany , doesn’t mean it’s made by Germans ...

 

Mayle is not manufactured in Germany, You probably mistook "Meyle Germany" for "Made in Germany". Two different things.
