Got this email today, probably some sort of scam but wondered if any of you guys in the VW world had had the same one? Hello, I apologize for my email. David Williams (here in copy of this email) referred me to you. I restore and collect German cars with my brother in law Serge. I'm looking to buy an early 50's to 70's Porsche & VolksWagen Beetle or Bus. My brother in law is also interested on any classic European cars as Mercedes, Jaguar, Maserati, Aston Martin etc... Humm sounds dodgy to me. But I thought the same when I sold my pick up. I kept on getting emails from someone and every time I read them I had a South Africans voice in the back off my head. Very bad English. Then I had one from a man in London to say his friend in Germany wanted to by my van. He paid the money I problem Transpires that when a man from Poland came to collect it in his lorry the man who bought my van was a Russian man living in Germany Who collected and sold European cars. His name was Toni his brother was Andrias.
