FOR SALE T2 Side Step, PICS

    Selling a side step, as removed from a T2..the step fits into the jacking points and has a spring assembly attached to the chassis to stop rattling, etc..please see pics.
    Price is £69 plus post...incl.attached bag of fixings, etc.

    Hi.
    If the jacking point spacing is the same on an early I'd be interested ... even more so if you can find your way to the top side of the M25 for a "collection/delivery" (in GL10 but travel to M25 Junction 23 ish)

    I don't want to disrespect your advert but looking at the bracket that fits into the jacking point nearest to the drivers door it would appear the owner of the bus who fitted it had an issue with his/her jacking point and had to fit a metal plate underneath to give support and drilled an additional hole in the bracket so as to secure the extra support plate (hence the domed nut in the picture on only 1 bracket).
    A replacement bracket can be purchased (just campers sell them) and to fit them correctly (without the need for springs) requires a bit of measuring so as to drill the bottom of the jacking point in the correct place to fit the securing bolt. Prior to final fitting it is advantageous to liberally apply grease to the inside of the jacking point and to the ends of the brackets so as to deter rusting.
