Techenders September 2016 weekend of 23/24/25 Who's coming?

yeah got to admit it's turning into a meeting of people more and more, we need some of these newbies with broken vans to come.

Exactly this.
It doesn't matter if your van is a non runner.
The cost of a cheap tent is less than the admission to many shows & then most shows are about taking more money off you!
Cheap camping (there are showers, wash-up facilities and a bar), central location and free technical advice.
What's not to like?

 

I still need to do the front wheel bearings, do the main oil seal, grease front beam, fix windscreen washers.

Can I also add its a good place to get up and close having a good nose in the noisy cupboard, a good gander underneath or a poke around inside to see whats what without someone getting stressed your going to damage or scratch it and that's if they've not put across one of them silly ropes they use at the shows!

So if you have a rolling project or a non-runner in the garage but still want to learn or ask a question face to face with plenty of vans knocking around to get a good look at what your planning to do then this is the place as most of the guys & gals that attend do so to either learn or to assist someone else to learn how to do the jobs themselves!


The first Techenders we attended I was nervous as had never met anyone off the forum before but we were all made welcome and I received invaluable advice and instruction which saw us having a much pleasant drive home

We don't have a bay any longer but attend to help where we can & meet up with friends we have made over the years and even meet a few new ones too, its a great weekend to do all of the above & then some, you'd be bonkers to miss the opportunity if I'm honest

Well if I can get the van of this relative newbie on a transporter from Kent to TE I'd love someone to take apart my heating controls and fix them for me.
That way you get the van and no person LOL.

 

Will try and come to this. Would take a lot longer than a weekend to sort my bus out tho!
