Seems every colour has a club, so I though it was about time us poor non running, rusty, project, restoration owners had a club. Membership fees are (whistles though teeth, kicks tyres) about £5k for the bodywork £4k for paint give us £4k for an engine and about £3k should just about do it for the interior Can't guarantee anything mind All membership fees are to be paid upfront
Theres already The Late Static Motion Group, which Diddyman is the leader off But i'll join any club which involves rust, as i've removed plenty from my bus
Mine is very rusty but MOT'd and on the road, not sure if I'm stoopid cutting and welding it while it's drivable :-/ I wanna be part of the club , none of the other coloured clubs matched diarrhea yellow!
Mines MOT'd but engine out again, its a few shades of red, a few shades of white, lots of primer, plenty of rust, bare mdf door cards,r&r bed with new but naked foam,no cupboards, am I in?
Welcome all to the TLBRR Club. I will be sending club badges to all members that will rust and fall apart before your very eyes.
Diddymen, would you be interested in forming some sort of partnership between our great clubs to share tips, ideas and generally scowl at those with working buses. We will of course ensure that all rust stays on our side of the partnership.
lol sounds good to me ....any thing to be able to turn my nose up at those fancy pants lot with working busses for a second I read that as sharing trips ....only trips I seem to make are to the parts suppliers I wonder if we out number those with working busses
With the number of engine problems posted on here in the last few weeks you might need to bigger premises to fit all your members in
I thought VZi was cliquey!! I'm in the Blue bay club. I should maybe start an all encompassing white bay club (for the roofs) or a two tone bay club...? I've been a SMG member, authored the t-shirt even!! Despite being a runner, mines been dormant for 6 months. I started painting the floor and finished it three times. I got in it this evening and noticed rust coming through the newly painted floor Beneath the best paint there's rust waiting.... surely we should all be honourably members!?
I guess the difference is we're just tongue in cheek cliquey As far as the TLBRRC is concerned you are welcome as an honouree member, as soon as you can see more of the road than the floor you can apply for full membership
Hi brume Hi brum I think you will be hearing from my lawyer as I am the founder of the original Rusty bay club that I started a long time ago.well I am listening lol
Sorry Womball didn't realise you had an old rusty club what say we merge the clubs . Between the rust and those pesky kids restoring anything they can lay their hands on our numbers are dwindling rapidly I'll get my people to talk to your people
