TheSlamtop heres a few pictures of my hightop panel van, a work in progress. 4 inch narrowed king and link beam Adj spring plates Slam shocks & front tyres. Fitted solid doors with opening 1/4, rear bumper & front arches Rebuilt engine Paint: Olive drab, pearl white. When I first bought it: Sanding down, took ages! At T2D: Sprayed in aerosol primer (on a budget) Where I am now:
Cheers everyone Future plans are to paint the roof and bumpers and eventually restore the body as well. The front panel is pretty bad and theres a few little battle scars that need go! The body resto probably won't happen for a while. I have fitted a R&R bed/seat and rear belts but need foam!! I am using it as a daily at the moment, it's useful for me as a painter & decorator but I have got plans for a camping interior. But for now I just wanna get to some shows this year. I'm going to wind the suspension as low as possible and do the roof and bumpers, money permitting.
very nice O0 O0 you can't beat a nice ice crea-m van hi top, they really are the nuts and have soooo much room in them. Had one myself about 10ish years ago, now in the scrapyard in the sky It wasn't lowered or cool in any single way but got me around europe
Thanks for posting a pic of your hightop Matt. It's hard to find pictures of these, also nice to see how others are kitted out inside. What happened to the bus?? Was it rust? It looks quite tidy in the picture
