Appreciate he wasn't the only person to be brave there....but another heroic act by a brave guy running towards danger (bear in mind the last mall attacks in Kenya killed 70ish people and lasted days). Meanwhile our political class continue to posture and hand wring when the country really need them to park their self interest and get their marmite together.
I kinda wondered why he was there? Did we have intelligence that an attack was going to happen? Seems a weird deployment for British special forces. Fighting domestic terrorists when it’s unlikely they pose a risk to the uk.
Apparently he was in Kenya already training their forces and happened to be in the right place (for people he helped) at the right time.
We have a lot of sas or ex sas sbs littered all over training theirs ,others and body guards . So I hear
I have trained the Kenyan security forces in the past, it had nothing to do with any standing terrorist threat.
