Environment Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of respecting and doing your bit for the environment. Why not walk to work rather than driving, or take steps to reduce your carbon footprint in other ways?

So put down those cats and save the planet ;)

  7. Not all humans, but most of them, yes. That would be the most environmentally friendly thing we ever did.

  8. I should have walked in today. :)

  9. I don't give a sh*t about my "carbon footprint" :)

My thread appears to have taken a sinister turn......

  13. Odd thing to say, Sven. I point out to folk who come out with this phrase that they can help solve the "problem" by reducing the number of humans by one ;).

I think we're just fine, as is the earth, mostly

  14. Have you got another one of a wailing green, howling "the earth is dying!" ;)

I'm always somewhat suspicious upon hearing carbon dioxide described as a "pollutant", rather than "absolutely fundamental to life on earth, and much-loved by trees", as I'd previously naively assumed :)

  15. Harsh.

  16. I could reduce that number by a lot more than one, but I don't believe in curing the symptoms.
I am a very happy person by nature, positive view on most things, and i don't feel guilty about anything, but as far as humans and the earth's environment goes, we are no better than bacteria. It's something to accept and live with.

that or you can make up lies about it to make you feel better and never talk to others about it so they don't think you fit outside the norm bubble, like you probably think i do right now. :)
