Today is Leave the Office Early Day

Everybody loves to go home early, and Leave The Office Early Day encourages you to take some time out from the desk to realise that rest, relaxation and getting away can actually improve morale, attitude and productivity.

I guess Monday is the right day to try this. I can't see many bosses being convinced.....

 

I will be leaving the office early today as I need to get home before the theatre

 

It's easier to arrive late than to leave early.

 

I might as well not go in then - I only work 12.30 - 4.30 on a Monday ...

 

I wasn't at the office today, I won't be there tomorrow & I'm thinking of speaking to a certain medical person about signing a sick note for the rest of the week for me.

 

will it be ok if I said you said it was ok? I know strictly they pay my wages but that won't stand up in a tribunal surely?

 

Fat chance of that happening I'm afraid......

 

Please do and come and help round here. Got 12000 bedding plants to put in, but am down a worker. Joy

I've given myself the day off

 

Chance of an early finish would be good. First day back after holiday come back to total carnage!!

 

I've had a word with myself and apparently I am not allowed to finish early as I have too much work to do ... I told myself that it serves me right for having 1/2 term off so that we could go away in Daisy-Mae! It appears that I am a mean boss who works myself too hard
