Continuing the sock theme... It’s inevitable – for every load of laundry you sort through, there are odd socks. Over time, you may even find that you end up with entire draws and storage boxes filled with odd socks. But worry not! Lost Sock Memorial Day is all about commemorating the other (lost) halves of the pairs of socks which are still with us. Here’s to their memory. What do you do with yours?
The small ones become phone covers, the large ones rags or how about this: Handy for masking drive shaft boots. We keep the rest in a tin in the utility room and every now and then it gets emptied for a mass sock reunion.
you don't see enough sock puppets these days...I blame the xbox and tinternet..we ought to hold a competition....and putting 1 on your genitals doesn't count.
When we go walking round the common we often take the remnants of a loaf in a bread bag. When finished feeding the ducks I fill the bag with litter on my way home, on my litter search I regularly find a sock or 2. I don't know how so many get 'lost' I can sort of understand kids socks but adults?
