Nothing tastes quite as good as a homemade rice pudding from your favourite rice pudding recipe. Rice Pudding Day challenges you not only to indulge in more adventurous rice pudding recipes, from rum’n'raisin to more unusual ingredients like lychees and nuts. All I remember from growing up eating rice pudding was trying to avoid the skin
I once made the mistake of telling my landlady that I like rice pudding when I just left home at 17, she then made it every weekend - badly with the whole burnt skin on top etc. I haven't eaten it since.
I've got to agree with @Top Banana Racing I love rice pudding. It's surprising as when I was at boarding school it was quite often served as dessert.
@Terrordales, you'll be please to hear that it's currently 12 degrees and raining sidewards whilst I struggle with flagpole, awning etc. Yay British Summertime!
I'm afraid I've been corrupted and prefer the Ambrosia stuff out of the tin....oh and don't forget the big dollop of strawberry jam to go with it!
