Type 4 engine refitting, bloody thing!! Help!!!

Forgot to say, thanks to everyone who chipped in to retain my sanity.

 

The cable could this one? Goes to the starter terminal.

Middle of pic just above yellow crimp.
Or it may be something totally different.

 

Cor you have a lot of cables going to your starter, I only have 2 plus the thick one, what are the rest for,

I think they're to do with the fuel injection.
