V8 conversion for bay window van.. comes with UVA alloy adapter, complete Rover V8 plus spare Rover V8 and all the bits including new fiesta rads, cooling fans, exhaust parts, etc ..

took a while to make up my mind on this one ... would keep it nut need to raise cash for replacement aircooled engine ...

the engine doesnt hang out the rear of the van, the water pump pulley does, but not by far .. easily disguised

looking for £350........... can pallet the bits and arrange pallet collection at your cost ..

If I had time to sit and work out the cooling set up I would keep it in the van.. Im always tight for time though and would be beter making progress with the other stuff I have and drop an aircooled motor in... job done ... As it is the V8 is a drop in, the adapter bolts up takes a stock starter, loads of space to access the motor especially if there is a service hatch in the rear deck area.. If the battery trays were dropped a few inches a fiesta rad will fit on its end at each side ... let in a vent on the lower rear quarters and your on the way to a clean cooling system..I can cut some long louvres in a panel to graft in ( like a split ) eliminate the upper quarter intakes and you have clean looking sides on the van ... an easy mod to the engine cover and your good to go :) Im almost talking myself into keeping it ... LOL...

Hi sent you a PM with other info but to answer your other question its currently in a 79 T2 camper so its attached to a T2 4 speed manual transaxle... But the transaxle doesnt come with the engine or adapter.... Its the engine and adapter only thats for sale here :)

P.S Adapter is the proper thing, Its a UVA cast alloy adapter from the 80s :) No longer in buisness and quite hard to find.. The money is really in the adapter the engines are a bonus..

    cheers..
