Its gonna cost to more to put back on the road than a rust free resprayed import with new rubbers all round and a good service would cost.

You(me) cannot be bothered at all wiv bus so rent a lock up ,spend a wedge upgrading security re same and feel glad you(me, again) do not have to even see it on the driveway and start wondering who ,of all the guys who said if I ever wanted rid of it to give them Ist refusal were serious?

 

I can assure you thats not quite correct, my "rust free as it gets" bus is costing an arm and leg to restore to concours condition!

I've learnt this the hard way....... TWICE hahaha

 

my van is one major breakdown away from being sheeted up and left until i can afford to fix it, since i got made redundant and took a drop in pay i wouldn't be able to afford any repairs that are expensive at the moment, i hope it holds out until my loan finishes.

 

I'd call it a day when it stops making me smile.

 

We're trying to buy a house so any repairs are Down to cunning ingenuity, begging, borrowing and stealing!

I've still not called it a day, but I have stopped counting or caring about the cost.

 

you cant take it with you or the bus

 

when it costs over £200 to fill it up with fuel, £1 p/mile I think I might have to look at getting a flat bed and towing it to campsites

 

What about if they make you cry... I've cried just tonight Bella went loony and trapped my leg between her and a skip... and Molly has had me crying many a time.... haha

I think the smiles make up for it though x

 

If I cant afford to fix it, I put it away until I can.
