ok folks bit of an update - I am getting there or so I thought....finally decided on Laguna Blue L50c to be a little bit different...the guys have finished the perimeter panels and also painted the interior and fitted the MGF seats which I am loving.....however due to me getting carried away I though I may as well bash the credit card and go for a new front and new cab doors while I was at it, meaning that every single panel all the way round will have had a new skin or been replaced! When I went to visit last week it looks like a hand grenade has gone off in the cab but I am hoping he will look beautiful very soon!!!
See pics above, new front now on, new cab doors arrived from JK so 'just' these and paint to do then I can have him back! Can't wait for my first ever camping trip!
I know what you mean but I had no end of trouble finding someone local who was a) trustworthy b) wanted to take it on and c) could book it in within a reasonable time. Also I had been burnt by a couple of dodgy garages (on a separate thread) so I took it to Dave Bass in Cornwall who had done some work years ago for me on my MR2 MK1 so I knew he was both good value and good quality work. So yes it's a hell of a trip but felt like the best thing
Hey folks Well Vinnie is finally ready - picked up him on Friday (but broke down on Saturday as per other thread!!) but at least he looks good!!!
