2 to 3mm of end play on mine.
It runs well,changing from 15 40 to RYE 20 50 and disconnecting the oil light.lol.

 

Then mixing up a tub of belzona and lobbing it down the oil filler

 

Time to switch to a T5 as it's getting me down.

 

Sounds like you're well on the way to knackering a perfectly good engine.
