  1. Ello, can anyone tell me where/ how curtains would have been originally fitted / attached in the cab please, photo would be great thank you .

It probably depends on the year and model but on my '77 the cab curtain has four poppers at the top and two at the bottom. Top of the A pillar, top of the B pillar and another on the B pillar at about the level of the bottom of the cab door window. I'll take a pic tomorrow - remind me if I forget.

  4. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Earlier were more simple, a loop each end on the b-post "coat hangers" and the front held up by the sun visors in down position. Weak elastic sewn in along the top edge kept it from misbehaving.

  5. Ok thanks, mine is a75 and I can’t see where the poppers would have been, I have 2 holes either side of the rear view mirror and a selection of random holes on the b pillar

I have two holes either side of the mirror with blanking plugs, nobody seems the know what they are for. The curtain press studs on mine are here: Curtain press studs1.JPG Curtain press studs2.jpg Curtain press studs3.jpg

  7. great thank you for your effort, guess mine were filled & sprayed over at some point, do they just tie up at the mirror ? … like the 12v socket

I suppose the elastic in the curtain is meant to keep it taught across the cab but mine has stretched and I use a bulldog clip on the mirror stem to hold it.

  9. Could you take another photo of the popper lower down on the B-Pillar if you get a chance please so I can see the location better (i.e. a bit further back)? Our van doesnt have them, and the NLA curtains just purchased have provision for this popper. TBH I thought it would hang/fit better with a popper on the door, as on the B pillar seems to pull the bottom out too far to the rear?

I'd attach the top popper and fix the bottom one to suit the curtain. With the popper on the B pillar there are no gaps between the curtain and the door and the door can still be opened.

  11. Thats perfect thanks so much. The original (I assume) poppers are already in place at the top 4 corners, and our DIY curtain just made do with these - it was only on receipt of the new curtains I was like "hang on a moment - what a great idea..." just trying to work out whether to put poppers on the B Pillar, therefore making the curtain hang a little diagonally at the back, or on the door which will be tidy for curtains but looks a bit odd...
