  1. I have a Westy roof on my van but inside it only has a full size rock and roll bed but that is about to change i have managed to get my hands on a Westfalia interior well the back sections anyway but an issue its from an prototype bay and its left handed interior, so the cupboard would sit on the rhs of the van i cant see this being an issue can anybody else?
It has a 3/4 rock and roll bed, overhead locker and side wardrobe with mirror no cushions for the bed i got it for dert cheap its not in amazing condition but beggers cant be choosers!
I was looking at building my own interior but i cant miss an oppertunity like this also my interior would probebly look like a 5 yr old kid built it. I know i will get stick for it being a panel van and having the wrong interior but on a budget like mine you have to grab what you can.Very happy :D

if you're happy that's all that matters mate.
the only issue on a lefty interior in a right hand drive bus is the cupboards would block the sliding door.

  5. What year early interior is it? It normally says on the plaque mounted to the bed.

  6. I haven't picked it up yet so not sure I saw pics of it but I never took note of the plaque

  7. If it's a 68-69 and feel like selling it I'd be very interested!! ;-)

  8. Assume you have a RHD bus? I have a LHD Westy interior in my bus but then it is a LHD! ... I cant see any problem as the bed sits further back than the wardrobe so that wont be a problem with the sliding door, the wardrobe will be directly behind you so wont create a blind spot. The only issues I can see might be is where to put a buddy seat if you need a seat for a third person and how to mount a table, normally in an earlier Westy interior that would be hinged on the side opposite the slider, if you go for the hinged option, you might simply put it close to the wardrobe so you dont have to reach too far when sitting on the rocknroll seat.

    Hope that all makes sense?

  9. I've only just bought it ha ha

thank you pickles it does make sense I'm sure the person I'm getting it off had it fitted in a RHD bus I was thinking of getting a buddy seat fitted behind the passenger seat I think it will be to tight behind the drivers seat with the hinged table on the Right hand side of the van as well, I have seen a little fold up buddy seat on e bay that may work well if the table is to far from the rock and roll seat then I may just get a new table that will sit in the middle :)

  11. Well just I case you don't run with it or find a RHD one!!
