Morning all. What exhaust do you have with your towbars? I'm thinking my exhaust will be to big when I fit my towbar.
JK SS single quiet pack tucks inside my towbar as did EMPI twin quiet pack - just tailpipes were a bit short so the bumper keeps developing black patch(es with twin quiet pack). The exhaust boxes of both styles also fit higher than the bottom of the engine so the lowest part of the bus is the bottom of the front beam or the anti roll bar before I snapped that off. Some comment due here about fookin' Dubs as in Dubliners and their low quality road building in recent years.
I've got a custom & commercial stainless steel exhaust system fitted to mine. The back box sits under the bumper to the right hand side and doesn't stick out (nearly flush with edge of bumper when stood above looking down on it). I bought a 4 into 1 pipe to go with it. Only thing is, the back box slants downwards from left to right so looks like its not been fitted properly (20degrees roughly) however I've become used to it. Can email you a photo if you wish?
