Why don't people check the real price of items before going bid crazy on ebay?

  1. A long title I know but...really...don't people check what something is worth before bidding like idiots?

Sorry if this an item for sale from anyone on here but there are a pair of new sunvisors on fleabay which are currently at £34 plus £5.65 (total of £39.65) with 4 days remaining.

On KJ you can get the same pair with warranty for £39.95!

that's the joys of ebay for you

  5. What is postage on JK? I've sold new stuff on eBay before for more than its available for on th high street, but its been sold to people who live in the sticks, have no means of transport and can't get the high street forms to deliver.
    Go figure
    :)

Isnt JK's postage £5.00 if the product is below £50.00?

  7. People love the bidding I guess, I bought items off of amazon and sold them on ebay a few years ago and they sold for double the price I paid.

  8. saw similar on an item i was bidding on, mind you if you go to any auction , theirs always the fat wallet no nothing or heart rules head types their so......... god luck sellers if you are lucky to pick a couple or more bidders like this on your items.

  9. Ive bought and sold all sorts on flea bay, not enough to make a living, just as we empty cupboards/kids out grow stuff/motorcycle stuff and I've found that if you put items on to end at particular times of day the price you get will vary considerably.
For instance, baby clothes sell well early afternoon, baby has had lunch and will be napping-mum will be chilling and face booking and e-baying.
Anything bloke related sells well around 11-11:30 at night, especially on Friday or Saturday, as men are then generally relaxed/*******ed and will be willing to bid silly prices.
Just my opinion like, but it's worked for me.

  10. I just listed a load on ebay , for Ollie's new engine fund ..........let's hope those same silly people look at my things !

  11. Sometimes people will bid a bit more for things those sunvisors as they are quite often out of stock everywhere at the same time.

It happens with some body panels from time to time too.

  12. you have to laugh when people are bidding on something that with postage is more expensive than the buy it now one underneath with free postage

  13. Oh and don't forget if it says Westfalia its obviously worth at least twice as much!
