Is there any reason for my (72 late bay ATE) brake calipers having 2 bleed nipples? Which one should I bleed the brakes through? Ta,
And the bottom nipple is to get the old fluid out completely - that special black brake fluid that lasts 40 years...
Girling callipers have the pipe inlet at the top, so they're 'sided'. They've still got two nipples, but I'm not sure what the bottom one is for. Getting muck out seems the best answer so far. Maybe they were fitted to other cars too, upside-down. I saw some on an ford which looked really similar.
