why is my 1641 missing on No 3?

  1. plugs also point to over fuelling. Sooty and black. i am going to order some 55 idle jets from Dellorto and go from there. It also seems that after reading a post from the great mucky green, that F6 emulsion tubes are the way to go also. i am going to have a good look at the carbs and find out what I have already. A good clean might also help.

    seems the ideal set up for my 1641 might be 55 idles, 135 mains, 180 airs and F6 emulsion tubes. Next thing is to get some time to do all of this.

    Thanks to Paul and Mungo for all the help. i will keep you posted. please add any advice you might have for me.

  2. I had a 009 dizzy with a dodgy cam had a miss on four but went wen revs brought up an that was a new unit..

    Could still be electrical, as I just suggested on another thread stick the timing lead on no 3s HT lead and see if she's constant.

  6. Has one of the magnets in the elec ignition slipped out of place? Might be worth popping points back in temporarily..
