hi working up to replacing my us bus leccky hook up would this do as a fuse box http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Kanlux-RCD-Consumer-Unit-Board-Switch-Gear-DB1065-/360303818375?pt=UK_Light_Fittings&hash=item53e3c7f687#ht_2080wt_1219 just want a double socket and maybe a charger for my lea sure battery !
Thats just an empty enclosure. You would need the RCD and MCB to go in there. Youl be needing something like this: http://www.justkampers.com/shop/t2-bay-window/accessories/vehicle-electrics/mains-flush-mounted-hook-up-kit-240v-j11916.html You could buy the bits seperately but the units usually sold for camper/caravans are good to go as somtimes its a faff getting an enclosure with the right bits in it as they dont always come assembled. Theres this for instance but you would need to downrate the 32 Amp to 16amp for your sockets. You will also need an inlet. (do you want to fit flush to the bus or hide it away). Reckon you could get everything for about £50 but try ebay for a mains hook up kit!
OOps sorry link didnt post - This ones probably got the right breakers 6amp for your charger and 16 amp for your sockets. http://www.screwfix.com/p/volex-garage-unit-40a-30ma-rcd-with-mcbs/98668
I was going to say "oh my god, buy a new one - they're cheap as chips from and electrical wholesaler on your nearest industrial estate"
cheers dicky zed dont worry the old one been left in as a guide only all the old usa mains is coming out

i put a double rcd socket like this in my old van http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RCD-Double-Socket-Power-Braker-X2-/150737541129?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Electrical_Fittings_MJ&hash=item2318a85809#ht_500wt_949 i now use a portable mains extension lead so i can leave the fridge plugged in in the awning when im away from the site.
what zed said try your local electrical supplies place, tell them what you intend doing and get there advice i'd say you need a 2way distibution box (commonly used for adding power to sheds and garages etc) a rcd (legal requirement), a 16amp mcb for socket/s and a 6amp mcb for your zigunit/wired in battery charger plus a 16a blue male commando socket for the inlet and a bit of cable (the orange hook up lead stuff is best as its designed to stay flexible at low temps)
