  2. I haven't dude, I was doing a job that really needed two people but, you know how it is, and ended up with a bit of a stiff elbow. Thought nothing of it and didn't put it in the accident book either as it was just a stiff elbow with a bit of pain, turned out it wasn't going to heal even with rest and physio so 1 year on I went under the knife which I'm getting over now. I to was facing dismissal due to no longer being able to do my job and there being no other permenant position open to me, not that HR were any use, but to cut a long story short I ended up in temporary appointment which has lead to a permenant position, so whilst I loose the company car I get to be home every night. It's swings and roundabouts. Like you I'm just glad to still be employed.

  3. Id carry on what your doing. Permanent jobs are n't permanent no more... i took a permanent job to be told 5 yrs 7 months i was redundant.then took a permanent job, which lasted 8 weeks. A job with a challenge and over sea travel. must be good if you enjoy the traveling, if you dont want to travel, take the permanent one. now in a job which could lead to permanent after 12 weeks :(
