Yes Same here on the Wirral. But if I read it correctly whilst its an annual charge, they won’t collect green waste from October until March. So there’s 3 months gone ? Then “ in season” they collect every other week! So is it £40 for 18 weeks ? Anyway apparently you can share a bin with a neighbour…… how far away are you? I won’t be a nuisance…promise.
Our garden waste bins are Brown, Recycling = Blue, and Household = Green. How barmy is that? Oh yeah we also have to pay for the garden (brown) bins every year
Remember when we used the railways to transport stuff. Remember how underutilised they are right now? See where I'm going with this?
But we would have to go to the station to fill up with fuel ,which would entail driving on the platform ,and you would have a big queue ,the train would be sat in the station holding up other trains and climate. Protesters would be sat blocking the track
Yes. That's 18 weeks and your not sharing my bin as it's not environment friendly to drive to Chester
I think the biggest challenge would be getting your car through the turnstiles to get onto the platform. It’s just not been thought through.
What doesn’t help is we want everything now along with this just in time stuff where places have no storage space it makes the delivery systems complicated and inefficient
that was like my dads in Oxfordshire. Apart from the blue bin the others threw me all the time! Why is green household not garden waste!!
Because the 'forward thinking' councils who spend a fortune of focus groups, steering committees and consultants, chose green for general waste when they began their obsession with wheelie bins....
Couldn’t be arsed to join the panic buying queue for diesel this morning, think I have enough fumes to get home. I blame the *****s that keep starting threads on car forums about it
