Fuel shortages.

If you've a Bosch fuel pump on an old fashioned, ie not common rail diesel engine, it will run quite cheerfully on the cheapest vegetable oil.

 

oh for gods sake….. it’ll be fine, it’s all fuel innit.

The queue for Sainsbury’s petrol station, is about 50 cars long, here. Just got bloody stuck in it…

 

Shame its owned by Indians.

 

I ran an old Peugeot 205 on cheap veg oil for a while. Off the road of course because any form of tax dodging is totally illegal (unless you are filthy rich already and then its just a sport like golf or shooting pheasant)

I remember quite vividly the constant fish-n-chip-shop smell that used to follow me around.

That doesn't really show the depth of the queue coz we were nearly past it before I couldn't believe me eyes!

 

I just queued for diesel, as I’m now down the bottom of the red, only to find they had no diesel ffs. Beetle it is then (As long as they haven’t run out of petrol tomorrow)

 

What’s the difference between Petrol and Paraffin?

There are two Effs in Paraffin but no Effin Petrol
