I went to Priddy a couple of weeks ago and out to the Hunters Lodge Inn. Been a long while since I've been and knowing what Rodger the landlord is like, thought it best to take cash and lo and behold, cash only sign. Good job as well, as I'm no match for Rodgers marketing techniques.

Used to go through one of those hsbc books every month a few years ago. Paying wages used to be time consuming before internet banking.

 

Don’t make out you’ve got internet banking last time I were oop in Barnsley they didn’t even have mobile phones let alone broadband

if you try and pay in cash in Bristol you get looked at like you are a bit of a wierdo.

 

Thinking about it, they look at me like I’m a weirdo if I use a card too. ….
