Just putting this out in case anyone has one. I would like a 2000 - 2008 ish 1.0 polo for my lad to have as his first car. 1.2 at a push, but must be good condition and low ish mileage if possible. Message me if you have anything please. Malc
Have a 2001 206 coming up for sale just after Xmas 12 months mot 58k miles 1.0l things like a time capsule old bloke was doing 1600 miles a year to Aldi's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don’t discount 1.4s. the difference in insurance is not as much as the difference in car price. Everyone assumes you need a small one for first car. I bought Liv a 2006 1.4 for less than 2.5k (3 years ago)
Plenty of cheap 1.2 and 1.4 Polos on ebay. My 1.4 is a 2003 and a good all round daily driver, cheap to insure, cheap to run and a good strong car with lots of safety features.
No that's a red corsa this is a car I got for a temp for my sister as here broke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a nice black 65 plate 1.2 TSI Polo, £20 pa road tax, cheap to insure, full service history, 71k miles 50+ mpg, has wanted for nothing in it's life, even regular brake fluid changes and four matching decent brand tyres, but it might be more than your planned budget. I was going to trade it in, but a private sale on here should be equally hassle free, I would have hoped. They are lovely cars, way better than the previous generation. Just a thought?
Was just a stop gap for my sis mate and then sell it on but poor old bloke only did 5/600 miles since last mot been in hospital and can't drive no more had it since 3 months old he did Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have a 1.0 Polo yr2000, blue, 1 prev owner from new FSH, handbook. no rust, elderly prev owner so some paint scrapes, paint touched in etc.. Was our daughter's 1st car a year or so ago....4 x new tyres, new alternator, belt, tensioner, battery, goes by the name of Dory.
Probably too new as first car. He is going to bend it like they all do. I’ll let him bend ah old one it’s cheaper. Thank you
No problems, at 6 years old in Jan, it's not really that new, tho certainly newer than most of my previous daily beaters.
We’ve just traded up the eldest lad’s 14 reg polo for a 17 reg beetle, or is it really a golf with curves? Both good cars
Don't laugh but a friend was selling a Diahatsu sirion, bought it cheap for daughter's first car. Insurance about £800 parts cheap as and hardly ever broke.
This just came up down the road from me @Poptop2 Volkswagen polo 94000 miles, 4 owners. 5 door with cruise control and parking sensors. mot until march 2021, 1.2 litre petrol engine. in great condition. £3200
