As some people may have seen from out sale thread the Pop Top Kitchen has now changed ownership. Hannah and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us during this 18 month adventure. We have met lots of fantastic people and the enthusiasm for the food we produced has been very encouraging. So thank you all for eating with us and keeping us entertained during the shows. We have mixed emotions over the sale, we are sad to be letting go something we have worked hard for but also happy that the business will be carrying on and will have Matt and Kerry at the helm, @pkrboo on here. We are extremely pleased to have a couple taking over who we think can continue the success we have experienced and provide great food at the shows next year. We will still be attending a number of shows next year but just as regular visitors so please say hello if you see us around Thank you again, Adam & Hannah
Glad the sale went through. Congratulations @pkrboo let the hard work commence. From the caterers I've met in the markets over the years I've taken this: The harder you work the more money you will make(obvious eh) Do not scrimp on quality, people will not return for rubbish burgers Good quality fresh bread is a must, people know that heated up bread is just yesterday's stale bread Enjoy yourselves. Banter is the market traders biggest ally and will earn you repeat custom. Good luck and I hope to taste your wares at a show soon
Damn forgot that, think there might be time to change that yet Thanks, we have some exciting times ahead of us All good advice
From memory, we bought a couple of freshly made burgers at Skegvegas back in 2013, I gotta say it makes a change to have proper fresh food at a show rather than the typical burger food served up. I hope pkrboo & Mrs pkrboo continue where you left off & I wish them every success with the venture
Well the pop top kitchen departed today All the best Matt & Kerry @pkrboo, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
No not at all, just extra busy in our day jobs, making show weekends tougher Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk
Time's flown, I had you down as a possible buyer when Hannah gets bored with the new trailer in a couple of years Sent from my Pixel 8 using Tapatalk
