Just wondered if anyone has used this stuff and what sort of results it gives. Ive got a replacement dash top that has some paint marks on it. Tried a little acetone on it and while it gets the paint off it also discolurs the vinyl. Thought some black vinyl paint n the black might work.
I've used it in a spray can. It looks great but Its not hard wearing. You can clean with a cloth but I wouldnt rest anything on the surface after. I used it to spray my tan coloured dash on an mx5.
Some back to black type vinyl restorer should do it. I did the same with thinners and it worked a treat.
I used it on door cards and will be doing my seats next - the key is to clean thoroughly first. http://thelatebay.com/index.php?topic=4339.20 Half way down the page.
I've used it with great results. We have a golf cart we run about with and we changed the seat color with it and it lasts well throughout the season. Sun and out door weather seem to have very little effect on it, but scrapes from dog paws, and carrying things on the seat like "pop"coolers, has made marks on it. But a quick rub down to clean and respray and it's back to beautiful again.
Well i've had a crack with the vinyl paint and i'm well pleased with it. Its covered the blue paint and made it look new. Now has anyone on here fitted a replacement padded dash top? Is it possible to fit it without taking the entire dash out? Had a squint under there today and it looks tight.
