Anyone got an early front bummer fitted to a late?

do they fit - the wrap around bummer style? I saw a pic of one earlier and it appeared to have the deformation chin panel in place and have a front wrap around bumper which didn't appear to be modded in anyway???

anyone done this and got pics?

 

Was it the bumper off a new bay as they are wrap around?

 

I'm in the process of fitting my early one ....but then I did chop off the defformation panel :

....I did see a pic of one on here recently with an early bumper and deformation panel so it must be possible .....cant remember where I saw the pic though. Definatly wasnt a Brazilian bumper as it had the side steps

I had a test fit of an prototype bay bumper that I have, didn't fit at all. Wouldn't think it can be done without cutting off deformation panel. Don't want to do that so I'm selling the bumper and going to fit new Brazilian ones.

it was definitely an early bumper, with steps, guessing it must have had the deformation panel removed so that it fit.
