Autofire uk

Has anybody bought and fitted this system to there pride and joy

I've e mailed them asking for details of their system. As and when I get a reply I'll post it up.

 

These systems seem like a complete rip-off to me. £180 for a fire extinguisher and some melty plastic tube? I make that about £150 for the melty tube...

 

What about the firetek ones for 300 odd quid then? Or is that different?

 

looks the same as the firetec system so why does the website say from £249 when the firetec was around £150 if i remember right what do you get for the extra £100

 

The website does say £250 but they had an offer on the prototype bay forum for £180, I emailed them and said they would still do it for £180

 

Thanks Woody, that's what I meant.

It's down to personal preference and confidence I guess.

I just gave one away to a friend but I don't have one fitted myself. I do have nice new high quality fuel lines though.

I don't see any reason why it's likely to burst into flames. None of my other ones did.

anyone use these?

plus anyone remember that thread some chap (may have been one of youz) did about replacing the fuel lines etc? It's something I'd like to do. @ snotty

 

I'd suggest spending 20 quid on new fuel lines before lashing out on fancy extinguishers ...
