Back in the VW land!!

Hi all
After a bit of a hiatus . . . . Back involved with VW's again! After a few years out I am glad to be back and the wife and i recently purchased a 76 bay, I have owned a couple of Bays and Beetles over the years and we thought we would take the plunge and 'get involved' again!
Makes a nice change from the day job!

Looking forward to getting back into it!

Here are a couple of her, she is undergoing a 'sympathetic' restoration at the moment, nothing drastic, bit of mechanical and paint/bodywork tidying up.

Nice! I'm currently doing some upholstery for one of my customers in pretty much the same colour scheme as that

 

We got her near Wellingborough, and she didn’t miss a beat on the 150 mile drive back either!

 

I shall be enquiring about upholstery with you then in the near future
