Ball Joint boot !!!!!!!

Every time I jack the front up and the suspension dangles one of my ball joint boots pops off, its a right pain!!Anyone else suffered this annoying phenomenon !!!!

 

Think its down to the quality of the boots , i bet it came really flat like a pomfret cake when you got it .
Its best fitting those blue clips you get but are awkward it fit without those sleeve fitting jobbies .
Try winding some green coated wire and keep twisting it until it grips hard .

 

Some brands don't have enough concertina/not enough material.

 

I think that you really have to use the hard to fit annoying clips. If its hard to get them on, they should stay..
The Meyle boots seem to have sufficient stretch.

 

Single concertina boot?

 

Probably! Para's right, if they are single, you need twin concertina boots.

 

Yep, double concertinas, or the boots will pop off at full stretch.
