BEST ALTERNATIVE SEATS FOR A BAY WHICH DO YOU THINK????????opinions?

on mine i drillled out runners and on outer edge made a 100x50x3 angled bracket 400mm long and welded that into the tub to make a strong flat mount i will put a photo up later showing what i mean ps mine a bit different as its a bulkhead van

 

I have Saab 9-5 seats in mine but on a long journey my back starts to ache and because I have a full bulkhead I can't alter the seat position too much.

After reading this thread I am seriously thinking of swapping them for a pair of Jag seats (I just have to find two in good condition and the same colour as the Saab ones so they match the door cards etc!) :

£40 the pair off fleabay. Took an hour to fit the pair of them, flat back on them so they slide right back giving loads of leg room and very comfortable! (Managed 10 hour drive to scotland ok!)

 

heres the mounts i welded in to my van, the outside one's could obviously be used on either walkthrough or bulkhead van's but i had to fit a extra (white lhd) j section support bar on my bulkhead van to fit sports seat correctly (took me a year to find the lhd seat bar cut out properly) on my walkthrough split i did the same on the outside but with 40mm box on the inside to get the hight level side to side maybe that would work on a late bay?

Bit pricey though.

 

These are from the local scrapyard out of a vauxhall meriva ;D They were like new from a 06 reg cost me £15 but I did have them recovered only because I had all my seats done, the bottom sliders a flat and bolt straight in

 

i've got porsche tombstones in mine, super comfy - though i've not driven it anwhere yet as its not finished

 

I've had Nissan Micra seats in mine but just changed them to a pair New Buckets in Gray
Haven't been out yet so no idea on comfort
Will put pictures up when I can be bothered to put my photos on a photo site
most others copy n past, still my pennyworth

 

I have revolving 928 seats in mine, cost the princely sum of £0 from a Porsche breaker.
