  1. Looks like ive got myself a magic welding fairy sorted to make my van proper again......so im looking at body parts to order and im getting confused. My van has a jp/outrigger at each corner - so 4 in total. But supplier websites suggest there should be 6. Have 2 of mine fallen off somewhere? do i need 4 or 6? its a 79 by the way.

a 79 will have four jackin points/outriggers, the earlier ones had six.

If you look at the very back pair, the late late bays are different to early ones. I may have a photo somewhere

  7. ok....now sills. ive read that klokerhorn panels are guff but what about sills?heritage have inners £25 for a repro or 50 for genuine vw brasil. autocraft have them for 25. im more concerned about quality than price and autocrafts stuff is supposedly top notch (im going to buy their jp/outriggers), so why is theirs the same price as the cheap repro? which is best to go for?

paradox did say he found autocraft a good fit.

we used genuine sills for Gusbus and had no issues with the fit, that said we was building them up slowly to make sure everything else lined up correctly
