My fair wife's grandfather used to drink with George Brough and together with another lad used to road test the freshly built machines. His parents insisted that this came to an end however when his co-tester suffered a mishap and became 'fast in a cow'.

 

Really cool. I know a few of the people in that picture. Thanks for sharing.
