New venue for this year being the Bentley Wildfowl Centre and Motor Museum. Not sure why more of the TLBers don't go to this fab split venue show that ends up on Eastborne seafront after a cruise via Beachy Head. It was raining all the way down to the show on Saturday but stopped as we arrived, so after saying hello to BarneyTrouble, we went off to see the motor musuem and ducks etc. Some of the exibits; A long time ago, I built a kind of kit-car loosely based on one of these! As you know, I like a colourful motor! One for my fellow woodworkers on here to gaze at. Fire engine from Crowborough, where the show used to be held. My favourite Since Birdy was too ill to come to the show, these were the stand-ins; The recent wet weather hadn't done much for this guys hairdo! No son, thery're vicious, take your hand away! Told ya! Time to set up camp- this looks like a the best spot.... All done, with BarneyTrouble providing the entertainment. At first I thought he was trying to skateboard in the mud but apparently, if you read his post, you realise he was just trying to keep it in his trousers! Ugh! Poor Barney didn't make it to Eastbourne! Booo But the rest of us did! Hooray!!! DubDubz to the right with their tidy jaffa bay- announced as the favourite of the powerboat racing commentators. View from the 'screen Lots to see over this weekend with the racing, parkour displays, BMX etc, jetski freestyle demonstrations. Was packing up to go home, roof down, washing up hidden in the sink etc, when they put this on my screen, so I stayed another hour with "The most charismatic VW"! My fav of the show; Dubdubz (Bang Tidy!) The guys seem to be wondering where he got his extra length from! The little-ist Flagbus, Theo, looking for a podium finish (P.S. Barney and Birdy- he passed his music exam!) So. Are you coming next year?
Must add thanks to Dean and team for another great Bus Stop show (and not just 'cos we won a prize)! Change of venue was very popular with everyone we spoke to as well
