Camper fest Aug 2021 Chester

Have any lb members attended this in the past? Is anyone booked for this year?

Fairly new to VWs, I’d love to camp with others this summer and most other events seem either cancelled, or many miles from me (stockport), or both!

 

We've been a few times, not for the last few years. The food festival used to be really good but got smaller each year. I can't make out if that's still happening because it's independent of the camping. There may be a few VWs there but it will be mostly motorhomes and caravans. Nice to be camping on the racecourse in Chester though.

 

I live in Chester so camping on the racecourse doesn't appeal to me , it's right in the city so handy for the tourist stuff and shops ,pubs, restaurants etc
